We now have two viable sites in San Luis Obispo
where we hope to soon begin building
our model community village
To date, we've provided housing on wheels for
132 unhoused veterans and/or their families-
we've paused the program except for
vehicles to be donated.
So far, we've built four tiny cabins on wheels with the help of Cal Poly and Central CoastTech
High School with more on the way
once we locate our land!
Planning a model sustainable community village of tiny houses for chronically unhoused veterans
and other people who have little or no income here on the Central Coast of California.
VISION STATEMENT
With community support and involvement, we are dedicated to establishing a safe, healthy, and drug-free village where people will live in dignity and in peace, where their voices will be heard,
and where they will have hope in their hearts for a brighter future.
(Please know the population we serve has little or no income and hasn't a chance in the world of getting into housing - most cannot work at a 9-5 nor will they ever pay rent or own a home.)
“Compassion is not religious business, it is human business — it is not luxury, it is essential for human survival.”
—HH the Dalai Lama
A tiny that will be built for us by a local company to
provide privacy, safety, and warmth
when we locate our land.
Three of our tiny houses - tinies are
going up all across the country!
